The Octopus in the Aquarium

After visiting the Plymouth National Marine Aquarium with my children, I kept thinking about the Octopus that was hiding in the shadows at the back of its rather small tank, I literally couldn’t get him out of my mind. I started reading about Octopuses and learnt just how fascinating a creature they are. In the print you can find a pair of children’s hand prints that have been left on the glass, which is a reminder of the Octopus’s captivity and also of our responsibilities to educate the next generation to help conserve marine environments into the future.
