This is a reduction linocut of a pair of lungs
I found and pressed a beautiful piece of Dulce seaweed that reminded me of the capillaries of our lungs. I found this quite poignant because of the link between the seaweed absorbing C02 and the ocean generating Oxygen through plankton and other micro species. Plankton that over millions of years, absorbed C02 and burped out oxygen, the very oxygen that we breathe today.
