Last September, I was approached by Faber and Faber publishing to illustrate poet laureate Simon Armitage’s newest collection.
Dwell explores the beautiful and fragile living spaces of creatures in the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall. Inspired by Heligans’ ambitious restoration project, where history and mystery coexist.
Illustrating this book pushed my art into new directions. It was a fantastic experience working with Faber and Faber and bringing the poems to life through my work.
The launch at Heligan was a lovely showcase of the book and all the hard work that I, the team, and Simon had put in.
